ExamWorks announces intention to acquire Kindertons.

ExamWorks UK, a leading provider of medical report and rehabilitation services to the UK insurance and legal sectors, has announced its intention to acquire Kindertons Group, a market leader in the accident management and mobility segment.

The acquisition, which is subject to regulatory approval, further strengthens ExamWorks UK’s market position, and will create one of the UK’s largest and most diverse service providers to the insurance and legal sectors, significantly enhancing the range of services offered to its customers.

ExamWorks, whose UK market leading brands include Premex Services, Premex +, UKIM and 3d Rehabilitation, will add the market leading accident management and mobility services of Kindertons to its UK portfolio which trade under a number of brands, including Kindertons Accident Management, Sovereign Automotive, Crusader Assistance, Plantec Assist, JP Morriss and Jigsaw Law.

Sovereign Capital will be realising their investment in the Kindertons Group as a result of the transaction.

Commenting on today’s announcement Donald Fowler, CEO of ExamWorks UK said:

Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Barclays served as joint financial advisors to ExamWorks UK Group with TLT providing legal advice.

The shareholders of Kindertons were advised by Evercore with Pinsent Masons providing legal advice.
