Teesside's Wilton Centre invests in new £30k restaurant

The Wilton Centre has invested more than £30k in improving its on-site restaurant for the more than 750 workers at Teesside’s premier science and business park.

Working with catering provider Hutchison Catering, the Wilton Centre management team has expanded the Centre’s popular deli bar in the Lakeside Restaurant and updated food preparation and serving facilities to provide a better service.

New digital menus have also been introduced.

Steve Duffield, site director at the Wilton Centre, said: “Whether popping in for sandwich or salad, or sitting down for a meal, or a coffee and snack, the restaurant is really well used by our office and laboratory workers.

“The quality of our on-site facilities, whether it is the restaurant, shop, gym or free parking are always mentioned by our tenants as one of the reasons they chose the Wilton Centre in the first place, so it is important that we continue to invest in them.”

Andrew Hutchison, director of Hutchison Catering, added: “We’re excited to unveil the updated service facilities and add new enticing food offers and upgraded bean to cup coffee machines for our customers at the Wilton Centre.

“With more improvements earmarked in the near future, we’re looking forward to hearing our customers feedback over the forthcoming weeks.”

Wilton Centre is a privately-owned science and business park located in Teesside.
