HARROGATE-BASED BUSINESS KICKS OFF NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH

A Harrogate-based business is taking a new approach with its new, innovative and dynamic fitness product, by launching it on the world’s largest funding platform, Kickstarter.

FITT CUBE, by fitness brand New Image, is a world first in the fitness market. Incorporating four distinct functions, STEP, GRIP, TWIST and JUMP, FITT CUBE provides a varied workout and transformative high-intensity training with over 100 exercises to work the whole body. The product has been in development for almost two years and New Image is already gaining attention on the popular crowdfunding site.

Launching through Kickstarter provides valuable market feedback and endorsement and is a new way to engage with customers, physios and personal trainers, with people making suggestions and recommending new uses for the Fitt Cube on a daily basis.

Created by Harrogate-based entrepreneur Josh Hume, FITT CUBE is set to become one of the most dynamic fitness products in the market. Josh studied Sports Technology and Engineering at Loughborough University, home to the internationally acclaimed Sports Technology Institute. Since then, Josh has followed his obsession with product development, creating award-winning products in a variety of sectors, including electronics, military and sports.

Josh commented on the exciting launch: “It’s a fun experience launching a product in this way and it gives us the confidence that it has the right appeal in the marketplace. The whole team at New Image is behind this project and we’re hoping to meet our target and bring the product to market.

“New Image is a relatively new brand and we’re excited about the future, we’re working on new ideas and concepts all the time. As a business, we’re passionate to launch health, fitness and wellbeing products that make a positive difference to people.”

New Image has a manufacturing agreement in place and the brand has distribution centers set up in the UK and the US. New Image is hoping it will get the backing it needs to see the first production run.

FITT CUBE is one of the most versatile fitness products to launch in the fitness arena. It allows for a gentle warm up, hard core HIIT session and a safe and steady cool down. It’s great for cardiovascular, muscular strength and endurance and because it’s small and portable it enables a variety of exercises from one bit of kit.
