Wirral software company opens Liverpool base
Software developer Livepoint is expanding into Cain’s Brewery Works in Liverpool.
The company is hoping to broaden its presence in the North West with the new Baltic Triangle office, which will operate alongside Livepoint’s existing team in Hoylake, Wirral.
Two software developers will be hired, bringing the firm’s team to 10.
Adam Sykes, managing director of Livepoint, said: “It’s tremendously exciting to be joining this new wave of creative energy at Cain’s Brewery Works.
“Our expansion into Liverpool brings many benefits including the opportunity to collaborate with other businesses, better engage with the city region and raise brand awareness and profile.”
He continued: “While we have had success developing our brand across the North West region from our Wirral site, this move will enlarge our commercial footprint.
“We are now looking to expand our presence across Liverpool and the wider metropolitan area with much greater impact. It will also provide a platform to build on our success in other neighbouring cities including Manchester and Chester.”
Livepoint, co-owned by Wirral entrepreneur Nik Ellis, is best known for its business automation software SwiftCase.
