European giant plots move to 16,700 sq ft base in Wythenshawe
European certification giant Bureau Veritas is establishing a new base in Manchester.
The France-headquartered company has signed up for the entire 16,698 sq ft second floor at Atlantic House on Atlas Business Park, Wythenshawe.
Bureau Veritas will relocate its 170-strong Manchester team from Didsbury to the new office in the coming months.
Property consultancy OBI Property, which acted for Bureau Veritas on the 10-year lease deal, is managing and designing the office fit-out.
Investment firm Aviva, which owns the building, represented itself.
Bureau Veritas UK CEO Ken Smith said: “The large Grade A working space in Atlantic House really stood out from other buildings we looked at.
“It is amazing that our big team will be able to fit into a single floor. The relocation is an investment in our team, we want a workspace that inspires better performance and I am sure the office design OBI Property is working on will do just that.”
Andrew Cowell, from the transactions and asset management team at Manchester-based OBI Property, commented: “It is a fantastic news the global leader in assessment industry is moving to Atlantic House.
“When Bureau Veritas approached us with the brief, we knew instantly that Atlantic House would be a great fit for them. I am pleased to assist them in finding their new home.”
