Pegasus Group Marks 15th Anniversary By Launching Charity Fundraising Campaign
A national consultancy is marking its 15th anniversary by launching a fundraising drive as hundreds of employees across its 12 offices aim to raise £15,000 for charity.
Pegasus Group, which has more than 260 skilled staff operating from 12 offices in 11 locations across the UK, has selected the Alzheimer’s Society as its chosen charity for its 15th year.
The company was established in 2003 and has grown to become a leading independent, national consultancy specialising in planning, design, environment and economics. Over the years, the company has expanded introducing a market leading heritage department and a new transport offering.
The company aims to continue its growth over the next 10 years and recent expansion has seen a second office open in Birmingham and another in Peterborough.
Managing Director, Tony Bateman said: “Our success is grounded in our determination not to stand still but to continue to grow and invest in a strong workforce and we are proud to mark our 15th anniversary.
“Pegasus Group’s objectives remain the same as when the company was founded – that we deliver a first-class service for our clients whilst providing optimal results.”
Over the past 15 years, Pegasus Group has been involved in a number of high profile projects with have included Gloucester Services, Plasdwr Garden City, Cardiff, Ebbsfleet Garden City Scheme, Regional Distribution Centre for a major retailer, East Midlands, Binfield Learning Village, Bracknell, Monaco House Redevelopment, Birmingham, the Panoramic 34 Restaurant, Liverpool, and Veterans Garage, Manchester.
Tony added: “To mark our anniversary, we thought it fitting to raise money for a chosen charity and a vote across the business saw the Alzheimer’s Society selected.”
Lisa Courtney, Community Fundraiser from the Alzheimer’s Society said: “We are delighted to have been selected by Pegasus Group staff to fundraise for us and this money will be used to fund research into dementia and support for those living with the condition. There are 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK and action taken by companies such as Pegasus Group will propel us towards a cure one day.”
Pegasus Group’s official anniversary is on Saturday, September 15, however employees have already launched their fundraising activities. A team of cyclists from the Leeds office took part in the 2018 Yorkshire Pedalthon with further events planned including the Windemere Row, Leeds 10k and Three Peaks Challenge.
