Academy Trust speeds up with £1m connectivity contract
The Enquire Learning Trust has become the latest education trust to choose Gateshead-based Aspire Technology Solutions as their connectivity provider, joining various schools and education authorities across the UK.
The Trust, which is based in Wakefield, has a number of academies nationwide, including several in the North East and Yorkshire.
It required internet connectivity and telephony services to ensure its academies could contact each other efficiently, and chose Aspire to provide this from a throng of competition.
Paul Shill, senior account manager at Aspire Technology Solutions, said: “Aspire were delighted to win the contract against a large number of national competitors.
“This further strengthens our presence in the Education sector, meaning we now provide services to more schools than almost anyone else in the area.”
With institutes such as One IT and Northern Education Trust choosing to switch to the company’s services over the past year, Aspire is keen to solidify its place as a competitor on the national playing field.
The company has demonstrated its growth year-on-year, including investing £1m into an extension to its Heworth Hall HQ to accommodate a further 40 members of staff.
Brett Webster, director of information technology at the Trust, added: “We partnered with Aspire Technology Solutions to deliver telephony and internet services across all our academies, providing them with interconnectivity between each over a high-speed network, and state-of-the-art communications in each academy too.”
