PM+M attends the 2018 Praxity Global Tax & Fiscal Conference
Representatives from PM+M – the chartered accountancy, business advisory and wealth management group – are in Barcelona this week attending the Praxity Global Tax & Fiscal Conference.
Tax managers Julie Walsh and Claire Astley will be participating in the two-day conference. Their aim is to extend and strengthen the firm’s links with fellow tax specialists around the globe.
PM+M is a member of Praxity, the world’s largest alliance of independent accountancy and consulting firms and the sixth largest accounting association. With member firms in more than 100 countries, Praxity facilitates the sharing of expertise between member firms and provides support for clients by its participant firms around the world.
PM+M’s involvement in Praxity enhances the support for clients who trade globally and are exploring overseas opportunities. With Brexit on the horizon many clients have started to consider the implications. Being part of the alliance allows the firm to provide a seamless service with a trusted overseas partner, confident in the knowledge that clients are receiving the right support and guidance when needed.
Julie Walsh: “As Brexit approaches it is essential that we are able to continue supporting our clients globally. Brexit brings very significant economic implications for the country, in particular the UK tax system and its uncoupling from the tax systems of the rest of the EU. PM+M is a forward thinking firm with truly global connections. We are delighted to be at this year’s conference as it gives us the ideal platform from which to continue to add value to our clients.“
