Leeds brasserie and bar Browns completes major revamp

Browns, the Leeds city centre brasserie and bar, has completed renovations on its historic dining location on The Headrow.

The Grade-II listed building, which was originally the home of Leeds Building Society, was acquired by Browns in 2001.

The brasserie has retained its original features, preserving the wood-panelling in the bank manager’s office which is now one of three private dining rooms, and maintained the windows which flood the venue with natural light.

Browns is also launching a new drinks menu with 17 Champagnes, over 50 wines from across the globe, British gins and hand-crafted cocktails.

The venue’s brasserie menu features favourites daily fresh market fish, oysters and steaks from British farms.

In addition, Thursday’s live piano sessions will also be held on Sundays.

Founded in 1973, Browns has 25 restaurants across England and Scotland.
