Sheffield architectural practices relocate to larger city centre offices

Self and White Design, the architectural and design practices, have moved into bigger offices as part of their long-term growth strategy.

The two practices were previously based on St Andrew’s Road, Sheffield, but have relocated to much larger, purpose-designed offices at Quayside House in the city centre.

The practises said that the new Furnival Road offices have been designed for “smarter working with less formal, agile work areas along with fun spaces, bringing people together creatively and communally.”

Alongside break-out areas with table tennis and table football, there is also more meeting space and a dedicated client drop-in lounge.

Kevin Unwin, managing director, explained: “This really is an exciting year for us and this move reflects and responds to our plans for significant growth.

“Quayside House places us in the vibrant heart of Sheffield and reflects our commitment to, and confidence in, the future of the city which is buzzing with a wave of new and exciting commercial, creative and retail developments.

“Our new offices will enable us to accommodate a planned growth in practice employees as well as improve the working environment for our architects, technologists and designers.”

Self and White Design work with local, regional and national clients across the UK in multi-sectors including retail, leisure, commercial, residential and health.

The practises are part of the Trebbi Family of companies that all operate within the construction industry to provide a complete suite of multi-disciplinary building consultancy services.

Kevin added: “We have a fantastic team of commercially minded, creative people here and our new offices are a statement of intent for the future. 2018 has got off to a great start and, in our new home, we are very excited about the future.”
