VINCENT CAFE & COCKTAIL BAR APPOINTS NEW HEAD CHEF DANIEL SIMPSON
Vincent Cafe & Cocktail Bar has appointed a new head chef to lead its thriving kitchen and hugely successful sushi bar.
It’s not the first time that chef Daniel Simpson and owner Paul Adams have worked together as Daniel was part of the team at the renowned Warehouse brasserie which was voted one of the top 50 restaurants in the UK and saw the likes of Jude Law, David Beckham and Samuel L Jackson as visitors.
Following his time at Warehouse, Southport-born Daniel went on to work in London for two years at the Michelin starred Chez Bruce restaurant.
Returning to Merseyside, Daniel has reunited with Paul and is now heading up the kitchen at the Vincent, developing simple, delicious dishes that are great both aesthetically and on the palette.
The chef is focused on continuously adapting Vincent’s menu to reflect seasonal dishes as always, packed full of fresh, locally sourced where possible, ingredients that create mouth- watering flavours from around the world.
To welcome Daniel’s appointment as head chef and to celebrate entering its fourth year trading, the Vincent Cafe & Cocktail bar is launching its first ‘Celebration Evening’ made up of a four course dinner with pairing wines, a DJ and entertainment for just £50 per person.
Launching on 26th July, this fun and entertaining evening will be a regular occurrence. To book or for more information, call 0151 236 1331 or email bookings@vincentliverpool.co.uk
Head chef Daniel Simpson said: “It’s great to be back in Liverpool and working with Paul again. I am very excited to get stuck into this role and add my own touch to the already delicious menu. I’m really passionate about seasonal produce so I will be adding those ingredients and adapting the menu gradually throughout the year to reflect this.”
Owner, Paul Adams, added: “Daniel and I worked together at the very popular Warehouse restaurant so it’s great to have him back. We make a great team and I’m really excited to see him head up the kitchen at Vincent Café & Cocktail Bar and put his own stamp on the menu.”
