Utility Bidder win sales award
Manchester energy broker Utility Bidder has been named Sales Leaders of the Year in The Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCAs).
The award was announced at the equivalent of the energy sector’s Oscars at the Honourable Artillery Company showgrounds in the heart of the City of London.
Utility Bidder CEO Chris Shaw said: “2018 was already a great year for the company having been nominated as finalists in four TELCA categories. Being named overall winner in the Sales Leaders of the Year was just the icing on the cake.”
Utility Bidder has 90 staff, over 10,000 customers and a turnover in excess of £7.5 million and is rated as one of the top three energy brokers on Trust Pilot. It has offices in both Manchester and Corby.
Geoff Curran, Commercial Director, Energy Live News said: “TELCAs are there to reward the best brokers in energy. I know that Utility Bidder really impressed the judges with their sales driven growth and making sure their customers get the best possible deals on energy. It is fair to say that they stood out as Sales Leaders in an industry where sales is key.”
As well as assisting commercial customers to find the best deal on their gas, electricity and telecoms, Utility Bidder has just attained its water licence and so can now provide all utility services to its customers across the country.
Chris adds: “The award win is testament to our hard-working staff and our thousands of loyal customers. The vision for our company is to build unrivalled customer service, alongside a determination to offer above-and-beyond value to our clients. The TELCA award win validates our business approach and demonstrates that we are well on the way to delivering the vision.”
