School’s out and Adventure Dock Co promise Liverpool’s most action-packed summer camp EVER!
With school out, Adventure Dock Co - Liverpool’s newest water attraction on the iconic waterfront - has announced a series of fun-fuelled summer camps for youngsters during the holidays.
Adventure Dock has teamed up with Liverpool Wake Park, Liverpool Watersports Centre and Airborn Academy, to create the ultimate multi-sport, summer adrenalin experience, Summer Splash Camp, running from August 13-16 and then from August 20-23. The two camps will offer the perfect opportunity for children to meet new friends and stay active in a safe environment, making it the perfect summer social for all young thrill-seekers.
Visiting some of Liverpool’s biggest and best sporting and adventure facilities throughout the four-day camps, children will have the opportunity to wakeboard, paddleboard, try parkour and free running, as well as jump and splash until their hearts content on the 92-metre inflatable Adventure Dock course.
Tim Woodhead, creator of Adventure Dock, said:
“We know entertaining the kids all summer long can be challenging for parents so we wanted to create something fun and memorable that the parents will love and the kids will enjoy. Our Summer Splash Camps are designed to give kids aged eight and above a multi-sports experience, they will be able to try lots of new things and hopefully make some new friends along the way.
“Partnering with some of Liverpool’s most well-loved sport and activity companies has been fantastic and all of the teams involved will offer something a little different to the mix. Children and young people will get to participate in everything from practical sessions to prize-giving celebrations, as well as one-on-one coaching from the skilled and experienced teams. We have tried to create the most actioned-packed offer possible to give parents real value for money. It is going to be a real blast for everyone!”
All children attending the Summer Splash Camps will be provided with wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets, wakeboards and all other equipment needed to get the most from the experience; all they will need to bring is a packed lunch, swimwear and a change of clothes.
The summer camps cost £180 per person and will run from 9am-4pm each day. With a limited capacity for just 16 children for each camp, bookings will be taken on a first come and first serve basis.
