Encore Group eyes growth with new additions
A leading supplier of print and packaging solutions has made a series of appointments to grow its team and accommodate growth.
North East-based Encore Packaging Solutions and its sister company, Encore Envelopes, produce more than three billion items of packaging a year from factories in Peterlee and Washington, including corrugated and solid board boxes, direct mail packaging and e-commerce solutions.
After 22 years with another well-known packaging company, Chris Reilly has taken on the role of technical design and studio manager. He said: “It’s exciting to join Encore and head up the team. The Company has a great reputation and it’s an honour to be here and be a part of its future success.”
Daniel Moloney brings experience in dye-making and printing, taking the role of pre-press and CAD operator; creating samples and mock ups for production. He is joined by fellow seasoned packaging expert, Alison Betts, an internal sales account manager.
The fourth addition is Gosia Grochowina who works in client services; coordinating production planning and sourcing materials.
Ken Pearce, external sales manager at Encore Group, said: “Adding these experienced people to our team will allow us to grow the business through speed of response. We can increase our service levels to both existing and potential new clients, which we believe is paramount to the business.”
Following acquiring the assets of a £12million envelope business in Leeds from the administrators, Encore Envelopes has been able to protect jobs in Washington and make cost savings. Meanwhile, Encore Packaging’s AA BRC standard regulation, awarded earlier in 2018, has opened a number of new doors.
This more agile method of working has enabled the Company to make further investment in people and machinery, and it continues to seek dedicated, professional people to enhance the business and its offering.
