NEW BUILDS HELP FIRST-TIME BUYERS ON TO THE PROPERTY LADDER
Persimmon Homes Severn Valley says that buying a brand-new home has never been so affordable thanks to the Government’s Help to Buy scheme.
The development has attracted a wide cross-section of customers including first-time buyers, professional couples, growing families and those looking to downsize.
Carly Spear, head of sales for Persimmon Homes Severn Valley, explained that the success of Help to Buy means there has never been a better time for first-time buyers to get their feet firmly on the property ladder.
She said: “At our Kings Copse development we can help make it easier for prospective purchasers to take that all-important step on to the property ladder and start investing in their own futures.”
Three-bedroom Moseley house types at Kings Copse start from just £165,995. That can be reduced under the Help to Buy scheme, where the buyer meets 75 per cent of the cost and pays a five per cent deposit. The Government then makes up the shortfall through an equity share loan.
Carly, added: “It is often difficult for first-time buyers to get onto the property ladder, especially in such a desirable location. We believe that these properties offer the perfect solution.
“The homes at Kings Copse have been designed with modern living in mind, and it has proved popular because of this and the great choice on offer.
“Anyone wanting more information is welcome to pop down to Kings Copse and speak to our sales advisors who can advise them on the various schemes available to help them buy their dream home.”
Help to Buy is a shared equity scheme where buyers only need a 5% deposit and are eligible for a 20% loan on the term of a mortgage, which is interest and repayment free for the first five years.
