Abode Architecture has the Edge
Bespoke property development company, Edge Projects, has appointed Manchester architectural practice, Abode Architecture, on its latest project in Wilmslow.
This scheme will see Edge Projects converting a farm complex for residential use and includes the transformation of the original farmhouse as well as barns with the addition of a new build element.
The team at Abode Architecture is currently overseeing four other builds for Edge Projects, all in Alderley Edge.
Edge Projects, headed up by Kevin Pickersgill, specialise in high end luxury homes. They are currently working on construction contracts worth in excess of £20m with all properties being built on a private commission basis.
Speaking about their latest project, Pickersgill said, “We are in the business of creating stunning homes, created around the lifestyles of our clients.
“We offer a turnkey solution to our clients and work in a unique way around a bespoke building agreement which sees us providing a suite of services from site sourcing through to design, value engineering, planning, build and fit out.
“It’s not just about creating the most striking elevations, although that is important, it’s about meticulously planning the internal space. To achieve both we need to combine our skills with those of specialists such as Abode to deliver an amazing end product.
“Having built a reputation for quality over many years we are fortunate to be approached by clients to create truly stunning homes; everything that we do is bespoke.
“We have recently completed two builds and are currently on site with six operational projects plus have another two at the planning stage.”
