A double win for eNett at the 2018 Stevie Awards
eNett International, a leading provider of integrated B2B payment solutions for the travel industry, celebrates taking home two Stevie® Awards at the 2018 International Business Awards®. The company has been awarded Gold in the Fastest-Growing Company of the Year in APAC category, while CEO Anthony Hynes took home Gold in the Executive of the Year in the Financial Services sector category.
The company’s continued growth in 2017 led to it being awarded the Gold Stevie in the Fastest-Growing Company of the Year in APAC category. eNett saw its revenue increase by 29% YoY to USD193million in 2017, driven by growing its share-of-wallet with existing customers and onboarding new ones. This has contributed to eNett seeing an impressive compound annual growth rate of 58.5% over the past five years, making it No.1 in international virtual card payments for the travel industry. eNett’s ongoing success would not have been possible without the stewardship of CEO and founder, Anthony Hynes. And in recognition of his outstanding leadership skills and entrepreneurial achievements, he picked up the Gold gong in the Executive of the Year in the Financial Services category. Anthony has been the driving force behind eNett since launching in 2009 and through it, has brought Virtual Account Numbers (VANs) to the global travel industry and helped redefine the payments landscape.
eNett founder and CEO, Anthony Hynes said: “It’s amazing to see how far eNett has come in the last nine years. We have grown from a start-up to leader in virtual cards and are now processing tens of billions of dollars in transaction flow for some of the world’s largest online travel agencies. I am honored that our achievements have been recognised by the Stevies, especially for the second year running. I want to thank my team, as without them, eNett wouldn’t be where it is today. We’ll continue our quest to bring fast, easy and safe payments innovations to our customers and hope to keep our winning streak alive in the years to come.”
Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards, said: “This year’s Stevie Award winners in the IBAs are the most distinguished group of winners we’ve had yet. We raised the minimum average score from the judges required to qualify as a Stevie winner, so 2018 winners should be especially proud of their achievements. We look forward to presenting their Stevie’s to them in London on 20th October, and to telling their stories over the coming year through Stevie Awards media.”
