Interiors and lifestyle retailer LillianDaph to launch digital store

The LillianDaph Store, an interiors and lifestyle retailer based in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, has given its online presence a boost with the launch of an ecommerce platform.

The company teamed up with website developer MODEST, also based in the town, to create the new digital store.

Grant funding from Tees Valley Business Compass supported the project.

Christina Easton, owner of The LillianDaph Store, said: “Our fresh new website mirrors the exciting direction we are taking LillianDaph as a brand.

“We want to enchant users and create an online shopping experience like nothing they’ve ever seen before.”

She added: “MODEST’s dynamic vision has allowed us to create something really special, and we can’t wait to go finally live.”

The new website will launch later this week.

Speaking further, Christina said: “We are a tiny independent store with just a small team of four. When you start to look at the interior ecommerce market, there seems to be either the larger well-known brands, and the small independent players much like ourselves.

“What does seem to be missing are independents with heart and passion for what they do, yet delivering it with the same level of professionalism as the big brands. This is the gap we aim to fill.”
