Award winning sales manager joins Bolton business broker
Hilton Smythe is expanding its leadership team by appointing award-winning sales manager Belinda Daniels to join its Bolton office.
The firm, which is based on Wood Street, has a staff of more than 40, supports clients looking to buy and sell businesses across the UK.
Belinda will be managing and supporting Hilton Smythe’s dedicated sales team.
Although new to the business sector, Belinda has been in retail all her working life, most recently managing different brands in a prestige department store within the Trafford Centre. While there, she was part of the management team for a Bespoke Fragrance brand, achieved several sales target incentives, won team of the year twice and a national Think Customer Award.
Belinda Daniels, Sales Manager at Hilton Smythe, said: “I love the sales environment, but anyone who has worked in retail will know it can be quite taxing on your work life balance. It can mean a lot of late nights, working Christmas, and a lot of travel, and I felt that I was ready for a new challenge.
“I’m a keen gardener and cook, so having some good quality time at home with my husband is really important to me. It’s also nice to now be able to make a bit more time to spend with my dog China, who is like my baby, especially in the lovely weather we’ve had recently.”
“The team at Hilton Smythe have been incredibly supportive in helping me pick up the ‘business broker’ skills, while I’ve been sharing the management and retail skills I’ve developed over the years. Every day is completely different, and I look forward to learning all the ins and outs of the business. I am loving the challenge.”
Gareth Smyth, Group Managing Director at Hilton Smythe, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Belinda to the company. She brings with her a wealth of experience in the sales sector, and I know she has a lot to give to the role.
“It’s fantastic to have someone on board who has been nationally recognised for their skills, and I am certain she’ll continue to give an award-winning performance.”
