Utility Bidder is moving on up
The latest energy third party intermediary (TPI) index sees business energy broker Utility Bidder move into a top ten position for the first time
The new small and medium sized enterprise TPI Index was announced on 31st July 2018 by Cornwall Insights, a leading industry body that help businesses and investors navigate the UK energy and water markets. In the first part of 2018 Utility Bidder was listed as 16th, but this latest report shows how the company has climbed the ranks to number seven in the second half of the year. The move represents the most significant jump compared to any other organisation in the index.
New CEO Chris Shaw joined Utility Bidder in January and he sees gaining a place in the top ten as a huge achievement for the company which has overtaken its competitors by nine spaces in the ranking.
Chris Shaw said: “We are hugely proud that Cornwall Insight, a respected energy market analyst has recongnised our growth and strength. Utility Bidder is determined to continue its ambitious growth plans and save even more customers money on their utility bills.”
Working with TPIs and energy suppliers, Cornwall Insights provide clarity and vision in a dynamic energy market that can be difficult to follow. This quarterly report gives readers an overall understanding of how the energy market and its professionals are performing, and also recognises TPIs for their achievements.
This ranking complements Utility Bidder’s 9.6 rating on Trust Pilot which makes it one of the top three energy brokers rated on site.
The achievements this year to date are mounting for the company. It won Sales Leaders of the Year at the 2018 industry awards and recently attained its water licence and so can now add water to the utility services it can offers its customers across the country.
Chris adds: “This recognition is testament to our hard-working staff and our thousands of loyal customers. The vision for our company is to build unrivalled customer service, alongside a determination to offer above-and-beyond value to our clients. Moving up in the index validates our business approach and demonstrates that we are well on the way to delivering the vision.”
