Furniture company Loaf expands into St Albans
Furniture retailer Loaf has expanded with a new shop in St Albans.
The store, located on Albert Bygrave Retail Park, will be the brand’s seventh UK showroom.
The 5,000 sq ft centre will feature a mattress testing station, sofas, arcade games and an ice cream parlour for customers.
Founder Charlie Marshall said: “Our new St Albans Shack is slap bang in the middle of Commuter Shangri-La.
“The Shack has the perfect recipe for a happy life in the slow lane and it’s high time we brought our comfy wares to the St Albans area.”
He added: “We can’t wait to open the doors.”
It follows the launch of a 7,000 sq ft store in Cheshire earlier this year.
Loaf started out life as an ecommerce brand. But following success online, the company established a physical presence in 2015 with its first shop in Battersea.
