Leeds-based comms agency to create jobs on health sector hat-trick

A communications agency in West Yorkshire is creating jobs after securing a hat-trick of client wins in the health sector.

Leeds-based Beattie is looking for three additional staff to help it deliver on contracts with nutritional supplements company Nutri Advanced, animal health products firm Ceva Animal Health and electronic scales maker Tanita.

The company confirmed plans to hire an account executive, account manager and account director.

Rachel Gladwin, director for Beattie’s North and Midlands division, commented: “2018 has been a year of exceptional growth for Beattie with a number of exciting client wins and the recent announcement of five new hires and seven internal promotions.

“This latest spate of client signings gives our thriving health portfolio an additional boost and we are delighted to be working with these three brands as they each enter a crucial new phase of their business development journey.”

Beattie’s health portfolio already includes glasses retailer Specsavers, healthcare group Bupa and vitamins business Seven Seas.

Michael Lomas, marketing brand manager at Nutri Advanced, said: “It’s an exciting time for Nutri Advanced as we launch two new probiotic supplements to the market and we knew we needed PR support from an experienced team of health-marketing experts.

“We were impressed with Beattie’s credentials and their strategic thinking, creativity and integrated approach really stood out to us during the pitch process.”
