One Vision Housing, part of The Sovini Group has enrolled staff on a Charted Institute of Housing (CIH) accredited housing qualification.
Launched last month by Alder Training, which is part of The Regenda Group, the qualification will be taught by experienced sector specialists who will be able to pass on industry knowledge and practical skills.
Alder Training worked closely with the Charted Institute of Housing to develop the programme of apprenticeships which aim to meet the needs of the housing sector.
There are three levels available within the Certificate of Housing Practice Apprenticeship meaning learners can achieve a range of qualifications equivalent to GCSEs, A-Levels and Foundation Degrees.
One Vision Housing has enrolled staff onto the City and Guilds Level 3 Customer Service Apprenticeship as well as the CIH Level 3 Apprenticeship.
Louise Harris, Managing Director at Alder Training, said: “We have combined over 20 years’ experience in apprenticeship and training provision with over 50 years’ experience in housing to design an apprenticeship to help us shape the future housing workforce.
“We have worked closely with the Charted Institute of Housing to gain accredited status which demonstrates that the course meets the needs of those working within the housing profession.
“I am really excited to welcome our first cohort of learners from One Vision Housing and supporting these individuals to enhance their existing skills in the housing sector.”
One Vision Housing Chief Executive, Roy Williams commented: “One Vision Housing are committed to investing in our employees through a range of ongoing learning and development opportunities. The training Alder provides will ensure our staff are equipped to deliver the best possible service to our customers.”
Learners will receive a free CIH student membership for the duration of the course and be able to apply to the Chartered Institute of Housing at Member level on completion of the course.
