Director promotion for UNTHA’s waste industry specialist
UNTHA UK has promoted popular colleague Gary Moore to the role of sales director.
Having spent the last four years as the industrial shredder specialist’s sales manager, Gary has been instrumental in growing unit sales by 40% during that time. He has been the driving force behind some of the team’s most widely acclaimed projects, including the UK’s largest UNTHA four shaft shredder installation for heavy duty applications at LKM Recycling, and the UNTHA XR3000C mobil-e for RDF production at Rabbit Waste Management.
With almost 30 years’ experience in heavy industry engineering, including 20 in the resource sector, his expertise is particularly renowned in the fields of alternative fuel production, WEEE liberation and metal recycling/separation.
Commenting on the promotion, UNTHA UK’s managing director Marcus Brew said: “Over the last 12 months particularly, we’ve focused on transforming the business from one with an entrepreneurial yet reactive mindset, to an organisation that boasts a robust management team and carefully considered strategic plans for development.
“Gary’s industry knowledge, unswerving customer focus and ability to devise turnkey solutions for problems our clients thought couldn’t be solved, epitomises what we want to be known for. It is therefore the perfect time to further elevate his role in the company, as we push ahead to double our turnover in the next two years.”
Gary will be responsible for the strategic direction of the sales team and will play a crucial role in the selection of the department’s next recruits. His promotion will free up Marcus’s time to concentrate on the overarching evolution of the company, in both the UK and overseas.
