Matt Freed takes the reigns as site manager at Brockworth development
Matt Freed has been appointed as site manager at David Wilson Homes’ new Sunningend View development in Brockworth, where work is underway to create a community of 71 new homes.
He will be responsible for overseeing construction at the site, liaising with construction workers, subcontractors and suppliers. With eight years’ experience in site management, Matt has worked within the housing industry since he was 16. He has helped create numerous developments - and will play a key role in mentoring local apprentices working on this latest new community.
He said: “I’m delighted to be working on these superb new home designs here in Brockworth. It’s great to be responsible for making sure those who buy homes here are delighted with their purchase.
“Understanding their needs and aspirations, and ensuring everything is just as it should be is so important. I have a great team here at Sunningend View, and overseeing a safe and happy site where everyone feels a sense of satisfaction in their work is also a key part of my role.
“Progress is good and we’re all looking forward to opening the doors to what will be an impressive new community at Sunningend View launching later this year.”
David Wilson Homes managing director Ian Menham said: “We are delighted to have Matt overseeing our new development and know he will do an excellent job. Site managers like Matt play a key role in delivering high-quality new homes and this inspires confidence in our buyers.”
