Trade marketplace lists Newcastle's alcoholic tea brand
A North East-based artisan drink company has been added to a national trade marketplace.
British sourcing specialist The Great British Exchange has selected Newcastle’s NOVELTEA as one of its latest up and coming brands to promote to retailers.
Developed by artisan mixologists Vincent Efferoth and Lukas Passia, NOVELTEA combines two favourite British drinks – cold brewed tea and spirits – to create the only alcoholic tea currently available in the UK.
The GBE is a hub for trade buyers of British-made products and works with big names including John Lewis.
Vincent Efferoth from NOVELTEA said: “Being listed by The Great British Exchange is an opportunity to expand our retail portfolio and introduce even more people to our fast-growing brand.”
Matthew Hopkins from The Great British Exchange added: “We are passionate about seeking out the new and the different for our retailers which is why we are especially excited to be listing NOVELTEA.
“We believe this is a product that will really help high street stores differentiate by offering their customers a reason to visit them.”
