Trendy ice cream parlour opens second store in Chinatown
A Filipino ice cream parlour has opened its second store in Chinatown in London.
Mamasons Dirty Ice Cream covers 315 sq ft and features industrial elements throughout with on trend climbing plants, marble tables and pink velour seating.
The trendy new store features tropical prints and a neon sign, with the opposite wall showcasing art from Filipino communities.
The parlour offers a range of desserts influenced by Eastern flavours, including black coconut and ube, as well as traditional desserts from the Philippines such as Halo Halo.
Julia Wilkinson, head of Group Restaurant Strategy at Shaftesbury, said: “It is very exciting to welcome Mamasons Dirty Ice Cream to Chinatown London, and judging by the queue, it’s fantastic to see how popular the launch was and the buzz it has already created in this newly developed part of Chinatown London.”
