Contractor Willmott Dixon invests in Rotherham base to foster ‘modern and agile’ working

Contractor Willmott Dixon has invested in its Rotherham operation to accommodate growth in the Yorkshire region.

The building firm has announced a complete redesign of its office at Ashley Business Court, which houses 16 staff, to foster collaboration and project-led working.

The new-look base, completed in house, will allow Willmott Dixon’s pre-construction and operations teams to work more closely with partners and customers on new projects.

Operations director Stuart Kerr said: “Collaborative working is at the heart of everything we do and we are very keen for our office spaces across the business to reflect that.

“Following the success of our project to deliver the new University Centre Rotherham, we are gearing up for new work opportunities as Rotherham and Yorkshire continue to thrive with new inward investment.”

He continued: “We want to make sure our team has the very best working environment, with our spaces focusing on modern and agile ways of working to bring the best results for our customers.

“We are working on a number of exciting projects from our Rotherham office and are looking forward to seeing the region continue to go from strength to strength.”

Projects currently underway at Willmott Dixon include a contract on Doncaster Council’s new-build housing programme in South Yorkshire.
