Yorkshire Show Home Celebrates God's Own County
A delightful new show home that has opened in Boston Spa celebrates all that is great about Yorkshire by integrating some of its most loved products into the sophisticated and elegant interior design scheme proving that there is no need to cross the county border when making a house a home.
The five bedroom ‘Shakespeare’ house at Shires Grove, Boston Spa, a development by leading housebuilder Miller Homes, boasts a diverse range of furniture, soft furnishing and accessories from Yorkshire businesses including now global industries to small independents.
“We have worked very hard to integrate a tasteful Yorkshire theme in this home whilst retaining the elegance and focus of the brief,” said Michael Goodwin sales manager Miller Homes Yorkshire. “Our designer, Jeanette Holmes, who is also based in Yorkshire, has done this perfectly creating a show home that we are all incredibly proud of.”
Popular Yorkshire brands such as Yorkshire Soap Company, Masons Gin, Harrogate Candle Company, Ryedale Vineyard and artwork by the renowned Lucy Pittaway feature alongside furniture, wallpaper and soft furnishings much of which can be sourced from retailers across the county.
“Yorkshire is a wonderful place to call home with cosmopolitan cities, idyllic rural villages and a wealth of culture and heritage to enjoy, so it made perfect sense for us to create a show home that pays homage to this great county,” said Michael. “Currently we have developments in ten different locations across the county and will proudly open another four before the end of the year.”
There is a selection of homes currently available at Shires Grove including varying styles of three, four and five bedroom properties. They are currently priced from £274,995. For further information visit https://www.millerhomes.co.uk/new-homes/yorkshire/shires-grove-boston-spa.aspx
