Barratt Developments, which comprises of the Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes brands, has donated a collection of furniture from The Maples development in Hebburn to the Age UK County Durham superstore in Durham.
The donated collection came from the two show homes on site and included over 60 pieces of furniture, commemorating Barratt’s 60th Anniversary and the work they put into supporting the communities they build in.
Furniture items include, two dining room tables and a total of 14 chairs, three two seater sofas and one three seater sofa, two king size beds, three double beds and one single bed, a selection of dressing tables, cabinets and coffee tables. As well as furniture, various items including lamps, vases and artwork were also donated to the superstore for sale - with all proceeds contributing to their much-needed facilities across the North East.
After previously donating furniture from their Berry Edge development, Age UK County Durham saw huge popularity and sales from the previous donated items, and were delighted to accept a new donation.
