Leading UX conference returns to London for fifth anniversary
Leading digital and user experience conference, Interact London, is set to return to the city for its fifth consecutive year on October 17, exploring the theme of ‘intelligence in design’.
The UX and digital conference will welcome a diverse line-up of forward-thinking speakers including Janne Jul Jensen, senior user experience architect at LEGO systems; Matt Edgar, head of design at NHS Digital; Ivan Pols, creative director at what3words; Pete Trainor, mental health campaigner and co-founder of Us AI; Stefanie Posavec, designer, speaker, lecturer, and author of Dear Data; and Hannah Tempest, head of mobile at Nomensa, with more speakers set to be announced in the coming weeks.
Officially launched in 2014 by international strategic UX design agency, Nomensa, this one-day conference promises to share thought-provoking ideas, provide exceptional industry insights and ask the bigger questions in UX, design, AI, data and more, helping to shape design thinking of the future.
Speaking of the event, Catherine Vaughan, director of marketing for Nomensa said: “It’s an incredible achievement to be hosting our fifth Interact London event. The conference continues to receive a high volume of positive feedback from delegates, speakers and sponsors each year. I have no doubt that we’ll receive a similar response this year as we welcome a whole host of talented speakers who are set to share their perspectives on design excellence, challenge traditional perceptions of design and explore topics new to Interact such as artificial intelligence and data.”
Following the popularity of the inaugural Interact after-party in 2017, the exclusive social event is to return for a second year and will once again be held at the Sky Bar, Holborn. Guests can expect a wide selection of food, delicious cocktails and the opportunity to continue intellectual debate with some of the industry’s leading thinkers.
Catherine continued: “The launch of our after-party event last year was an astonishing success and we look forward to continuing this new tradition for attendees this year. We believe in creating quality experiences no matter what we do, and there’s nothing better than interacting with like-minded individuals over drinks to help nurture collaborative relationships.”
Interact London will welcome over 150 delegates to the British Museum this October, encouraging them to network, expand their knowledge and create professional relationships with longevity.
