Leeds housebuilder Duchy Homes moves North East team to County Durham

Leeds-headquartered housebuilder Duchy Homes has moved its North East base to Bowes Business Park in County Durham.

The company regional team, now operating from offices on the Lambton Park estate, is led by managing director John Barnes.

The division is preparing a pipeline of new developments, after full selling out its first development at Chesters Meadow in Humshaugh, Northumberland.

Duchy expanded into the region in 2015 and today operates across four UK divisions. Its housing plans include new sites in Morpeth and Kirklevington.

Lambton Park is a secluded estate owned by Lord Durham that occupies around 1,400 acres of farmland and woodland.

Duchy’s North East team was previously based at premises in Team Valley.
