Deal marks ‘big step forward’ for Darlington accountants Lyons Watson
An accountancy firm in the North East has expanded its footprint to facilitate growth.
Lyons Watson Accountants took on a larger office at Darlington’s Business Central to house an upsized team, with owner Nick Lyons hailing the deal as a “big step forward” for his company.
He explained: “[The new office] gives us the room we need to welcome a new member of staff and we’re excited to bring clients to our new office.
“We like to meet with our clients regularly to build close relationships. This enables us to provide a very personal service and advice that is specific to each client’s needs, so it’s great to be able to have the extra space in the office to host these meetings.”
Nick is originally from Darlington. Before Lyons Watson, he worked for a number of accountancy firms in the area.
He continued: “We were delighted to have the opportunity to grow within Business Central and expand our business further.
“Going forward, we’re already looking to recruit another trainee accountant next year.”
Vanessa Wood, centre manager at Business Central, said: “Nick is a popular member of our vibrant business community and I’m delighted that Lyons Watson have decided to stay and grow with us.
“I’m looking forward to seeing how they progress as they continue to build a successful business.”
Lyons Watson was founded in 2016.
