Olivia May supports Cheshire Charity Visyon

The team at designer fashion retailer Olivia May based in Ashton Hayes, Kelsall has announced that they have chosen ‘Visyon’ as their charity for 2018/2019.

Visyon charity provides support to over 1500 children and young people in Cheshire and North Staffordshire every year, offering one-to-one therapy, group work, family support, creative activities, mentoring, teacher training and peer support groups.

Ladies fashion retailer, Olivia May which has stores in Cheshire, Oxford and online, was set up five years ago by local lady Ann Whorrall and the aim of the charity is close to her heart.

Ann explains, “As a mum of four children and a teacher before opening Olivia May, the health and wellbeing of children and young adults is something I am passionate about. It’s now recognised that young people are under more pressure than ever before, and they and their families need to be able to find the correct care and support.

“We have a young team here at Olivia May and I just love to see them grow in their careers, occasionally they move on, but I always enjoy seeing them go from strength to strength.”

Sandi Marshall, business development manager at Visyon said, “We are delighted that Olivia May has selected us as their charity. The support that Visyon receives from local businesses is crucial to continue our vital work. I am looking forward to working together to help raise awareness and essential funds for Visyon. The team at Olivia May is already planning some fundraising events with the emphasis on fun - watch this space!”
