Teesside Bathroom Company Lusso Stone Set for Stateside Success

Lusso Stone is set to open their new US office and showroom in the USA after increased demand for their bathroom products across the pond.

Teesside based bathroom company Lusso Stone is preparing to launch their high-end bathroom company stateside. The company, founded by Teesside businessman Wayne Spriggs, is on course for a £12 million turnover this year and the US move follows increased demand in the US for their luxury stone resin bathroom products.

Lusso Stone has a high-end customer base including five-star London hotel Claridge’s - and the first showroom and office in the US will open by early 2019 to meet exporting demand.

Wayne Spriggs is set to move over to the US to oversee the expansion, “I’m excited to get started on the US side of the business and will be running the business initially with my partner, Nicola Pentland and my son, Sonny Spriggs. We are also looking to create around 10-15 jobs to run the day to day operations in the US once the office and showroom is open“

The demand for the Teesside based business’ stone bath products has grown steadily over the last few years and the company are shipping products to American every week with projected sales from the US expansion expected to be around £20m.

Following the US move, Lusso are set to continue their global expansion, “It’s obvious that there is significant demand for our products in America and once the US office is running smoothly we are looking to expand into Canada then onto Mexico, this will hopefully start in late 2020“

The brand is fast becoming one of the more recognisable names in the industry, working with top interior designers and architects across the globe whilst also extending services to the trade industry and the general public.
