Appointment ensures end to end service
The appointment of a further plot conveyancer to the residential development team at law firm Higgs & Sons will help deliver an end to end cradle to grave service to clients.
Vikki Seal has joined the firm from Shoosmiths where she had worked in the plot team for the last four years.
Head of Property at Higgs & Sons, Cherry Elliott, said: “Vikki’s appointment as Plot Conveyancer will help strengthen our expertise and capabilities within the property team in order to offer our clients a truly cradle to grave service.
“Vikki brings with her more than 20 years’ experience dealing with the legal aspects of plot sales, and she is a very welcome addition.”
A Plot Conveyancer with Vikki’s capabilities offers support to clients such as developers and plot purchasers whether homes are being sold, purchased as residences or acquired as an investment and ensure quick and efficient exchanges and completions. Day to day duties include dealing with enquires and providing updates for developers, clients, agents and purchasers regarding the sale and purchase of plots.
Vikki said: “I have experience in dealing with plot sales across more than 20 sites of varying sizes acting for small and large developers from the initial instruction through to completion. I have dealt with complex sites involving third party landowners and managed the associated complex third-party consents and sale requirements. I also represent plot purchasers on acquisition of plots on new build schemes.
“I’m really pleased to be joining Higgs & Sons and look forward to bringing an added dimension to the excellent service already offered to clients.”
Vikki started in the industry straight from college as secretary/PA for a law firm before moving to Cobbetts (formerly Lee Crowder Solicitors) where she was PA for the head of property and later the social housing team which itself became part of Shoosmiths. After six years in social housing, Vikki joined their plot team as a Plot Conveyancer.
