Farah opens larger menswear store in Seven Dials
Vintage menswear brand Farah has relocated and upsized its Seven Dials branch after enjoying strong sales performance in the area.
The new store is situated on Earlham Street like its predecessor but spans two floors to give shoppers a larger collection to browse. Designed by Yum Retail, it boasts various aesthetic features inspired by 1950s industrial Britain, including galvanised metal fittings and vintage fluorescent lighting.
Mark McCann, Brand Director at Farah, said of the opening: “We’re excited about this new chapter in our retail development. Earlham Street has always been our home in London, and this new store will allow us to provide an even better consumer experience.”
Earlham Street, which is home to a number of established fashion retailers, has been the subject of significant improvement works recently. Property developer Shaftesbury has worked to enhance shop fronts, improve road surfaces and widen pavements to create a more modern and accessible area for shoppers and diners.
Shaftesbury Portfolio Executive Charles Owen commented: “Working with great brands, such as Farah, enables Seven Dials to offer our visitors the best choice of fashion with an individual edge, all within the heart of the West End.
“Driven by the demand for menswear, Farah has gone from strength to strength and we are pleased to have been able to help them expand and maximise their full potential on the newly revitalised Earlham Street.”
