Big Developments at Galliford Try
It’s all change in the Development Team at rapidly growing construction and regeneration specialist Galliford Try Partnerships North.
The arrival of new Development Director, Andrew Rennie, in February, paved the way for a recruitment and re-organisation initiative which has seen the team grow from just three, to nine.
Alexandra Ross has been promoted to Head of Partnerships and Development and is supported in this new role by new recruit, Claire Slater who, as Development Manager, brings with her over a decade of experience in home building and the affordable housing sector.
The duo will work on projects for both the private and public sector but focus mainly on developing schemes for North East housing providers.
Also joining the team as Head of Land is Phil James, who will use his 18 years of home building experience to lead the growth of speculative, mixed tenure opportunities which could be grasped by the business. Former Development Trainee, Jake Robson, steps up to support him as Assistant Development Manager.
Completing the new additions, Steve McCann has joined the team as Engineering and Adoption Co-ordinator. Making the most of his technical background, he works closely with Technical Manager, Paul Hacking. Neil Fitzpatrick is Head of Estimating, with support from Senior Estimator, David Scott.
Said Andrew Rennie: “We now have all the skills and experience needed to identify and assess development opportunities quickly, bringing creative, costed and deliverable solutions, which will drive value and create attractive housing options for clients and ourselves.”
Galliford Try Partnerships North is currently developing six sites with homes for sale and seven contracted schemes and hopes to double its workload over the next three years.
