New Construction partnership starts on site in Sacriston.

Following the recent signing of the partnership with Cheviot Holdings Ltd. Tolent Living are set to start on the new site in Lingey House Farm, Sacriston. The £10M contract will see 73 new modern homes. The recently announced contract was signed by Tolent Living and Cheviot Holdings Ltd which has formed the partnership for this project, and the start on site has come following extensive consultation with Councillor Heather Liddle and the local community.

Tolent Living is a subsidiary of established North East contractor Tolent Construction, and bring their wealth of residential experience to the relationship. Completion of the Sacriston site will be expected to be in May 2021 and we will see a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom modern homes, with funding being provided by Homes England. A huge milestone has been reached for Cheviot Holdings as this is the first wave of new home sites which are set to be delivered across the whole of the North East. Cheviot Holdings Ltd anticipate that the significant investment into the Sacriston development will deliver additional benefit to the community. By investing in the local economy, the project will provide employment and training opportunities for the people of Durham and importantly will use predominantly locally sourced materials.
