Developer reveals plans for 278,000 sq ft warehouse scheme in Doncaster

Commercial property investor and developer Gazeley has revealed plans for a 278,000 sq ft warehouse in South Yorkshire.

The new building, to be located at G.Park Doncaster, will target logistics, distribution and ecommerce businesses.

It will include 38 dock doors and four level-access doors to allow for greater HGV access, as well as a 50m service yard.

The development will be ready for occupiers from Spring 2019.

Gazeley development manager James Atkinson said: “The case for locating in Doncaster is clear and compelling.

“The area offers a large workforce of logistics and transport sector specialists and is already host to industry leading brands.”

He continued: “Its proximity to the M18, M1, A1 and wider motorway network will give our customers unrivalled access to the UK’s largest markets.

“This development will further strengthen our position in the UK as we continue to grow our business. We are looking forward to delivering a best-in-class facility at G.Park Doncaster.”

G.Park Doncaster is positioned next to West Moor Park on Junction 4 of the M18.

The area is home to a number of international businesses, including retailers Ikea, Next, Lidl, online giant Amazon and delivery firm DHL.
