Acquisition boosts Bradford-based chemicals manufacturer Christeyns

Yorkshire chemicals manufacturer Christeyns has bolstered its foothold in the the professional cleaning and hygiene sector with the acquisition of Clover Chemicals.

Christeyns, headquartered in Bradford, announced the deal this morning (October 22).

Derbyshire-based Clover produces a range of more than 200 cleaning products, with a focus on research and development to maintain a strong consideration for the environment.

The firm is led by its laundry and food and beverage divisions, whose output includes floorcare, washroom and skincare products, as well as housekeeping, hard surface and dishwashing chemicals.

Clover will continue operating from its facility in the High Peak area.

Christeyns CEO Alain Bostoen hailed Clover as a “great addition” to the group, adding: “The people, expertise and quality of products produced by Clover make them a perfect fit for our business and we look forward to growing together with them.”

Clover MD Des Eustace commented: “We are excited to be joining such an ambitious group.
