Duologi aims to strengthen HR function with new senior appointment

Consumer lending specialist, Duologi, has announced the appointment of Katrina Johnston as head of human resources.

Previously holding a number of senior HR positions at tech-focused, fast-growth companies, Katrina brings to the role 20 years’ experience in building high-performance teams to great effect.

Her most recent roles include HR director at RingGo Cashless Parking, UK Head of HR at global drinks brand, Mast-Jägermeister – where she delivered an Investors in People Gold accreditation - and nine years as head of group HR at Gamma Communications. During this time she led a UK team to achieve its highest ever Sunday Times Best Companies ranking.

Katrina’s new role at Duologi will see her taking responsibility for all people-related activities and assembling the building blocks of a solid HR function. This aims to take the business into 2019 with clear links to its ambitions for impressive growth.

Backed by global investment firm, Oaktree Capital, Duologi offers merchants across a wide range of sectors the opportunity to increase their sales, boost customer satisfaction and grow profitability through the delivery of tailored point-of-sale finance options. Since launching in September 2017 as a two-man start-up, the business has already secured over £100m in annual rolling commitments, with ambitions to have a seven-figure lending book within five years.
