North East's 0800 Repair to create 12 jobs with Yorkshire expansion
North East heating, insulation and renewables company 0800 Repair is expanding into Yorkshire and creating jobs.
Headquartered in Houghton le Spring near Sunderland, 0800 Repair will take on at least 12 new engineering staff in its social housing team.
The division already installs and maintains heating systems for social housing organisations across the North East but will now also target providers in Yorkshire.
In addition to taking on the new recruits, 0800 Repair is also hoping to extend its network of sub-contractors to support its expansion plans.
Neil Flowers, the company’s newly appointed contract manager, will oversee operations within the social housing division alongside business administration apprentice Danny Kent.
0800 Repair’s owner and managing director, Phil Pallister, said: “0800 Repair has continued to grow exponentially, and we are hoping to build on this positivity by extending our range of services to new regions, which includes the Yorkshire market.
“The expansion of our social housing division will offer clients a one-stop shop, complementing our existing range of services, and the creation of these new roles is essential for its future success.”
He continued: “We are committed to creating sustainable jobs for people and our workforce has grown rapidly as a result of winning new contracts and providing a greater range of services to existing clients.
“It is an exciting time for the company as we aim to engage with new customers across the North and Yorkshire.”
0800 Repair was founded in 2010. It is part of home services provider Pacifica Group.
