Hessle based home welcomes new manager
An East Yorkshire based care home which specialises in dementia care has appointed a new manager, who has over 25 years of care experience.
Hessle based The Hollies, part of the Hica Group, recently welcomed Anne Bond from Hull as their manager.
Ann has an extensive background in the care industry, including 17 years’ experience as a manager, having worked in dual registered homes across Hull, Doncaster and Sheffield.
Ann said: “I’m settling into my new job well. Staff at The Hollies are very welcoming, accommodating and caring. They have very close relationships with the residents and are a credit to Hica Group homes.
“I look forward to a forthcoming open day, which will be an excellent opportunity for members of the community to meet staff and residents whilst finding out what we do.”
The Hollies is a 48-bed care home with a specialised dementia community, The Tranby Suite. The building has its own private grounds and courtyards, in which residents can spend time relaxing, playing sports and tending to the gardens.
The home is part of the Hica Group, a not for profit organisation which operates a portfolio of 15 care homes across Hull and the East Riding. The company also runs two retirement villages and a homecare service which provides approximately 11,500 hours of support from four regional offices in the north of England.
