Plans revealed for West End restaurant-bar with sweeping views of central London
A new restaurant and bar offering panoramic views of London is opening in the heart of the West End.
Leisure operator Bourne & Hollingsworth Group has revealed plans for Garden Room, a 100-cover venue with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the London Eye, The Shard, Nelson’s Column and other landmarks.
Garden Room’s aesthetic, the firm said, will feature pared-back designs with whitewashed floors and Aztec-style prints along with tapestries, wrapped suede, wrought iron edges, rattan furniture and a mix of plants.
Outside, a living ‘window box meadow’ of herbs and seasonal plants will circle the entire room.
Bourne & Hollingsworth opened its first bar in 2007. Today, the firm operates a number of cocktail venues in the West End and a large club house, bar, restaurant and cookery school in Clerkenwell.
In June, the company revealed plans for an allotment-themed bar and social space in Shoreditch.
Garden Room will launch on November 23.
