Mike Park and Joe Norburn, TCC Group
Financial compliance firm TCC and its sister company Recordsure have appointed new CEOs.
Mike Park will take over as chief exec of TCC and Joe Norburn of Recordsure, with company founder Joanne Smith becoming group CEO.
Joanne said: “It’s an exciting time for the group, with both companies building greatly over the last year.
“Mike and Joe both have the skills, vision and energy to fulfil our ambitious future growth expectations, and I’m delighted to have them both on board.”
Mike was already group CFO at TCC, a role he will continue to fulfill following this week’s announcement. He commented: “TCC is long established as one of the UK’s leading independent financial compliance specialists.
“We are in a transformational period as we embrace new technologies to further support our clients: the potential here is phenomenal.”
Joe, meanwhile, will bring an in-depth understanding of Recordsure’s solution to the role, having recently performed strategic advisory work for the business. His background includes experience in financial services at number of early- and growth-stage companies, including time as the MD of wealth management firm Coutts.
Joe said: “Recordsure is at an inflection point: the company has successfully made the market that we operate in and now it is time to build on our early momentum. The solution we offer is unique and we are well placed to establish ourselves as the global leader in recordings and records analytics.”
Alastair Preacher, Funding Options
Business finance marketplace Funding Options has appointed Alastair Preacher as chief product officer.
Alastair’s career has seen him create and implement high-level digital strategies for startups and FTSE 100 organisations.
Over the last 18 years, he has held senior in-house positions with retailer Tesco, online mortgage broker Habito and retail-commercial bank Lloyds, as well as consultancies including IBM and Accenture. He also founded his own digital product business, Think & Do.
Funding Options MD Ryan Edwards-Pritchard said: “This is an exciting hire for us and a great time to join Funding Options.

Jonothan Davey, Drone Major Group Limited
Drone Major Group, the world’s first global commercial organisation set up to connect, support and trade with stakeholders in the drone industry, has appointed a new director of strategy.
Jonothan Davey has more than 18 years’ experience in management consulting, including positions with Deloitte, The Mitchell Madison Group and KPMG. Most recently, he was the financial services sector lead for outsourcing at PA Consulting.
Drone Major Group’s founder and chief exec, Robert Garbett, said: “The future of the drone industry is huge, and Jonothan Davey’s appointment reflects the importance we attach to guiding our clients through every aspect of adopting and adapting to this exciting new technology.”

Matt Phillips, White Oak UK
SME finance provider White Oak UK has appointed Matt Phillips as head of broker and strategic partnerships.
Matt joined the firm in 2009 and previously worked as its sales team manager, overseeing 50 direct sales professionals.
He said: “I’m delighted to be appointed to this vital role at an exciting time for the company.
“My goal is to work with the broker community and provide them with great products that fulfil both their needs and the needs of their customers, all of which will be supported by great service from people who understand their individual requirements.”
White Oak UK previously traded as LDF but rebranded earlier this year.
Group sales director Andy Davies commented: “Matt’s appointment demonstrates our commitment to increase our presence in the larger end of the SME market, and further engagement with the broker community will help us to achieve this goal.
