Squires Barnett Architects announce new partner
Architect George Musson has been made a Partner at Newcastle based Squires Barnett Architects. (SBA)
Formerly an Associate at the award winning architects, George will now join existing Partners, Louise and Mark Squires, at the helm of the LLP practice.
Squires Barnett Architects, who previously won a national design award at the Housing Design Awards, are pleased to announce 30 year-old George Musson, as a new Partner, as the practice and headcount continues to grow.
Louise Squires, Partner and Co-Founder, said, “I’m delighted to announce the promotion of George to Partner status.
“George has been working in the practice for a number of years now and has shown his wider capabilities, taking on greater responsibilities and developing our business as we’ve continued to expand our client base.
“We recently appointed two new architects to strengthen our team so this is a natural and significant step forward for George.”
Speaking about his appointment George, said, “I joined the practice straight from University seven years ago and have seen the practice grow from strength to strength.
“I am delighted to be promoted to Partner status and very much looking forward to working with Louise and Mark and the rest of the team to help develop the team and practice further.
“We have an exciting pipeline of projects and already work with some high-profile and fantastic clients across and outside the North East region.”
Squires Barnett Architects was founded by brother and sister partnership, Louise Squires and Warren Barnett in 2011.
The practice specialises in bespoke residential and domestic projects for commercial and private clients. From their studio in Newcastle upon Tyne, the practice undertakes commissions across the North East and Yorkshire.
