Europa Air & Sea’s New Starters Are A Triple Threat

Europa Air & Sea, a dedicated division of ambitious logistics provider Europa Worldwide Group, is continuing to gain pace by investing in three new business development managers.

Jasraj Singh, Tom Macdonald and Rebecca Couper have joined Europa offices in Heathrow, Nottingham and Manchester respectively, bringing a combined total of more than 15 years’ experience in the logistics sector. The new team will provide local expertise across the country to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Miles O’Donnell, Air & Sea Sales Manager, said the division’s success over the past few years was responsible for the continued investment in its growth.

He added: “I’m delighted to welcome our three new Business Development Managers to the team. Their combined experience and knowledge will strengthen our offering even further. We’ve seen significant growth over the last five years and, thanks to a joint effort across the division, Europa Air & Sea is now the strongest it’s ever been.”

This year, Europa Air & Sea celebrated reaching a turnover of £35 million and its best-ever quarterly results. It has been four years since Europa centralised its Air service in Heathrow and its Sea service in Birmingham.

Europa Air & Sea Director, Angus Hind, said: “This is a really exciting time for our division. Our continued investment in our services, facilities and staff shows our drive to gain further market share. We’ve seen a steady increase in UK exports for both Air and Sea freight which is not only fantastic for us, but also a positive reflection on the UK manufacturing industry as a whole.”

Europa Air & Sea is on the lookout to recruit more staff to further strengthen the UK sales arm of the business with the aim of embedding at least one Air & Sea Business Development Manager at each of Europa’s 13 branches throughout the UK.

Europa Worldwide Group is a specialist road, air & sea, warehouse and showfreight operator which employs more than 750 staff across 14 sites in the UK, as well as Hong Kong and Belgium.
