SME funding specialist targets sustained UK-wide growth with double sales appointment
One Stop Business Finance has expanded its sales force as it targets ambitious and sustained growth into 2019 with the appointment of two new business development managers.
The East Yorkshire based independent company, which specialises in providing funding to SMEs who have found difficulties in accessing funds from their existing banks, has welcomed Kelly Frith and Helen Dale to its team. As part of One Stop Business Finance’s nationwide expansion plans, which includes doubling turnover for the fourth successive year, they will be tasked with helping SME customers in all industry sectors in the Thames Valley and West Midlands regions respectively.
Kelly Frith joins One Stop Business Finance from Bibby Financial Services, bringing with her a wealth of experience gained across different departments of the multinational business, including in a business development role for almost the past four years. Prior to Bibby, Kelly worked for the Ministry of Defence and NHS. Kelly says: “I am excited to be joining One Stop Business Finance in these times of growth and being part of the team. I am really looking forward to building the presence within the Thames Valley region and continuingly assisting SMEs in their growth.”
Her new counterpart in the West Midlands, Helen Dale, has a strong background in banking, having worked for the Yorkshire Bank for 26 years before taking up her new role at One Stop Business Finance. Helen says: “Having worked throughout the West Midlands in various roles for Yorkshire Bank, including many years as a branch manager, I’m really looking forward to growing my network of customers even further. There is a great team ethos within the Business Development Team at One Stop Business Finance and it is exciting to be part of a successful and growing company.”
Based at Laytham near York, One Stop Business Finance provides secured loans from its own funding and through its network of finance providers for SME clients who are a limited company and able to offer security for their debts. The company differs from mainstream banks by working to find tailored solutions for an SME’s particular circumstances, taking clients through a process to identify the most suitable and cost effective options and ensuring that responsible lending is at the heart of what they do.
Andrew Mackenzie, Managing Director at One Stop Business Finance adds: “We’re delighted that Kelly and Helen have joined OSBF and will be part of our expanded and strengthened team. They bring valuable knowledge, skills and experience which will be crucial to keep our ambitious growth plans on track as we provide funding solutions to an ever expanding SME client base. Our customers value our ability to be a more flexible funding provider with the capability to offer truly bespoke solutions, and that will always drive our service as we grow.”
