From School to Skilled
Jordan Edwards, joined Wrexham Volkswagen, as an apprentice technician, and he’s now passed his final exams becoming a fully qualified technician.
A delighted Jordan explained, “I joined Wrexham Volkswagen straight from school in September 2015 and I’ve learnt so much in these 3 years. I’m now 20 and I feel like I’ve grown up with the team at Wrexham Volkswagen”.
“I’ve really enjoyed learning on the job; don’t get me wrong it’s definitely been hard work, with lots of studying too, but I’m so chuffed now, to have become a qualified technician and to have a real skill for life is absolutely brilliant”.
“Everyone at Wrexham Volkswagen has been so supportive, helping and advising me and I know they’re really proud of me, which is a great feeling”, added Jordan.
Wrexham Volkswagen is part of family-owned Swansway Motor Group, which has over 50 apprentices across all its sites.
Aftersales Manager at the centre, Jonathan Blake commented, “I’m absolutely delighted for Jordan, he is so eager to learn and the whole team is immensely proud of his achievement. He’s a young man who truly embodies the Swansway values of caring, hones and proud and I know he’s going to go on to be an excellent role model for apprentices who follow in his footsteps”.
